who says you can't beat urgoz without eoe?
So my alliance started up an urgoz group, we call ourselves the pwnzilla group because we generally complete urgoz very very quick and in HM too. We go with the normal routine. By the time we hit the first room we've lost our MM, no biggie but it can end up hurting us in the end. Later on down the road we lose a ranger that had WW, again no biggie right? Keep in mind that at this point were at 10 people out of 12. With plenty of hell and trouble we get past all the wardens thanks to our great puller who ends up making our urgoz run nothing but hell. We finish the last room aka the room of a thousand pops and everyone is relieved to be at urgoz. Our puller's computer, mentioned just a minute ago, decides to let him lose all visual to Guild Wars. He's still in the game, can move around, he just can't see anything. The problem here is that this happens when a new build pops up so if anyone hard restarted their computer then they wouldn't be able to restore connection. So as this happens we're trying to tell him what to do on vent and at this point I'm in stitches laughing my ass off. Without telling us he resets his computer hoping for one little bit of a chance that he may be able to restore...he couldn't. So now our Puller/EoE'er is gone. We were pissed to say the least, but we gave it a go and managed to pull it out, remember we do this in HARD MODE!
Notice the little hard mode symbol there.
I would like to thank:
My lovely back up monk, Surreal
The killer bip, Touji
Our Ritualist, Kazil
and our nukers...
last but not least Weenis...thanks for d/c'ing and giving us this oppurtunity to pwn urgoz and prove eoe isnt needed, eoe only speeds it up
Oh yeah, I almost forgot after 4 hours and 15 minutes is when we beat him

sweet i got a cookie...rather nasty looking though, with some sarcasm sprinkled on top
but seriously you cant blame me and the rest of our alliance for being enthusiastic about this, the post was mainly to tell all the eoe n00bs out there that it can be done without it

Yeah, the language in the screenshots is a bit much. Care to edit that out, or at least make them links and give proper warning? Geesh.
Also, props, but there is a screenshot forum. Just a little FYI.

And believe me, I'm not interested in being a 'real' part of it.

Great job
I'd rather see people brag about their accomplishments than see people COMPLAIN how hard crap is. The amount of "who cares" is appalling; answering "who cares" instead of "I can do that" while showing proof is swelling with arrogance.

Well, woot, we're so awesome threads aren't allowed because then everyone would post them, and also your language is unacceptable by forum standards.
